VIJAY SHARMA - Founder Leader

Vijay Sharma is the founder of the Big Smile Foundation. He is a visionary who started with the dream of filling smiles in the lives of people in his hometown Jaipur. He singlehandedly worked with his limited monthly income and used a portion of it for the help of needy. What started as an inner desire to bring smiles on the faces of needy soon transformed into a dream which now was not restricted to Jaipur, or even his home state Rajasthan, but had crossed Indian borders as well. He was consumed with the desire to give help and spread smiles across continents. He collaborated with the makers of Jaipur foot and soon dreamed of passing on this facility to anyone who needed it and it could be anyone from any country all over the world. He started with helping individuals. The help was provided for surgeries, medicines, food, education and soon he moved ahead with mini campaigns related to female independence and road safety. Slowly but steadily his ideas firmed up and then emerged the idea for Foundation.
